These reports have been prepared by an independent public health specialist.

Health Inequalities Impact Assessment (HIIA) is a tool used during NHS service reform planning to assess the potential of any policy, plan, proposal or decision to reduce or increase health inequalities. Many policies have the potential to impact on health inequalities and this is critical information that the NHS will need to consider in making their final decision.

It will be finalised for the joint committee in common of the two CCG governing bodies in order to provide a final assurance around the processes followed for the public consultation.
