What was the survey about?
We are reviewing how health services across South Tyneside and Sunderland can be improved and would like to understand what is important to you when accessing these services.
This was a survey about your experiences of emergency care services at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust following a visit to Sunderland Royal Hospital’s Emergency Department (A&E), or following an emergency admission to hospital for emergency treatment or surgery.
Who should complete the survey?
The survey should have been completed by patients living in the East and North Durham areas who have attended an Emergency Department (A&E) and may have received emergency care, or been admitted for emergency treatment or emergency surgery in Sunderland Royal Hospital, in the last two years.
This survey closed at midnight on Wednesday 12 February, 2020.
Patients living in areas such as South Tyneside and Sunderland have already had the opportunity to complete the survey in Spring 2018, the findings of which can be read below:
