There are also regular updates given to the clinical commissioning groups governing bodies as well as the hospital trust board as appropriate. The following groups form part of the overall programme governance. Each has terms of reference, record keeping and membership in line with good governance requirements.
Clinical Design Workstreams
These workstreams lead and ensure the clinically-led service reviews and scenarios development process duties.
Clinical Reference Group
This group provides clinical leadership at critical stages of the change process, providing a way to review clinical standards to inform quality and safety assessments of any scenario.
Clinical Service Review Workforce sub-group
This group reviews clinical workforce plans to seek assurance that any future workforce models are sustainable, deliver patient and staff safety, taking into account relevant guidance and best practice.
Pre-Consultation Business Case (PCBC) Working Group
The group is responsible for overseeing the process relating to the production of the final draft of the PCBC.
Programme Governance Group
This group supports the clinical services review group by ensuring a smooth and effective change programme through the development and delivery of a programme plan that is in line with statutory, regulatory and best practice requirements.
